Jake Roberts, frontman of the Jake Roberts Band, is a powerhouse vocalist and songwriter hailing from Franklin, Ohio. Before music took center stage, Jake made a name for himself on the back of some of the rankest bulls in the rodeo world. After years of punishing rides and a body built on grit, Jake traded in his spurs for a guitar — and hasn’t looked back since.
 
Music runs deep in Jake’s roots. His father, Gary Roberts, was the lead singer of the iconic regional group Cottonmouth Band, and from a young age Jake was immersed in the energy of live performance. Inspired by legends like Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Johnny Paycheck, Keith Whitley, and Townes Van Zandt, Jake brings a raw, honest sound to every stage he steps on — one that’s soaked in hard-won experience and outlaw tradition.
 
With over 30 years of life on the road, Jake has lived the honky-tonk circuit from both sides — first as a rodeo cowboy and now as a seasoned musician.
